After filming over 300 weddings, I’ve seen what helps a day run smoothly, and what makes the film better for it. These are the practical tips I’d give a friend: how to approach the speeches, where to get ready, what to do about confetti at venues with rules, and how to relax in front of a camera.

Some posts are about the day itself and some are about the small details around it. A few spotlight wedding suppliers, such as a magician and a balloon stylist. None of it is complicated and none of it is a rulebook. Take what’s useful, leave the rest, and if there’s a question I haven’t covered, just ask me.
